Melbourne Band To Play In Abandoned Hospital For The Insane

Converse is launching a new series of live music events designed to disrupt the traditional live music and tour mentality, by asking selected Australian bands where they want to play, no matter how crazy the location.

The event series starts in Sydney with first location by the artist King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, taking place at the recently shut down and vacant Rozelle Hospital’s Psychiatric Ward (Formerly The Callan Park Hospital For The Insane).

Additional events with different bands and locations are scheduled for major cities across the country.

King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard’s Sydney show is scheduled for Friday 11th of May, 2012. RSVP’s open from Wednesday 2nd of May 2012.
