New York-based dream-pop duo School of Seven Bells are returning to Australia as part of the Hi Fi Shoreline Series, playing a whirlwind leg across all three of the high-profiled music venues across dates in June, and now they’ve announced some very special support acts.

Fresh off the back of their studio album, Ghostory, the pop-via-shoegaze outfit recently paired down from a trio to a duo, and along with the new line-up comes a new approach to their experimental sound in what is probably the band’s career defining full-length.

Joining the New Yorkers on all three dates will be acclaimed Queenslanders and Triple J favourites, Little Scout, who’ll be bringing their atmospheric indie-pop fresh from mixing their latest single in America.

Meanwhile Leigh Hannah aka The Townhouses will be lending his unique musical presence to the Melbourne show, with the solo sounds of Melodie Nelson joining the ride for the Sydney show; and Brisbane will enjoy electronic artist Tara Simmons for their gig opening.

This will mark the third time School of Seven Bells have revisited Australia, and you can look forward to being entranced by their hypnotic fuzz and shimmering sounds of vocalist Alejandra Deheza and guitarist/producer Benjamin Curtis in a series of east-coast tour dates.
