All The Colours Announce New Single & Ladyhawke Tour 2012

Written by Al Newstead on 5 July 2012

ALL THE COLOURS are excited to announce a string of dates in support of Ladyhawke, along with a brand new single, Love Like This. All The Colours will head to Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and Adelaide with Ladyhawke throughout July.

Josh Moriarty (Miami Horror), Josh Mann, Jono Toogood and Joe Bramley (Betchadupa) have come together to make great music… and to make girls dance. With classic influences from The Doors to Ennio Morricone and the failsafe classics off a Tarantino soundtrack, it’s little wonder this band is quickly and surely making waves.

Having played in bands touring around the world (Moriarty as frontman for Miami Horror and Bramley in Betchadupa) the four friends have come together and created music that is both timeless and classic, but holds a sincerity that sets itself ahead. There is something in the music that can be inherently unapologetically fun, whilst sophisticated. Think 60s Motown dress sense akin to the Four Tops but with the swagger of Elvis and the guitar solos of Zeppelin.

Their debut single, “Love Like This”, is a smooth mix of vintage with some honky piano and Beatles-esque vocal harmonies. A cinematic video for the track has been served up by Director Guy Franklin (Kimbra, Delta Goodrem). Check it out below after the tour dates.

Don’t miss All The Colours as they tour Australia’s East Coast with Ladyhawke throughout July.
