Brisbane’s Martyr Privates and Sewers announce their first ever east coast tour this August, taking in dates in Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne.

Martyr Privates have been plying their trade for some time now and have perfected their muscular take on space-rock. They have released their 7” debut on Bon Voyage records and if you had listened to it you’d know it was one banger after another. On top of this they have a whole slew of songs not found on the 7”.

After some lineup changes, Sewers continues the established OZ tradition of ugly thumping noise but adheres to no rulebook. This isn’t paint by numbers. It combines the snark of the Fall and the Country Teasers for maximum insult.

Don’t miss this pair as they join some of the toughest acts on the street on their way down the coast—Rat King, Boston Bob, The Nugs, Ghastly Spats, Snotty Babies, Eastlink & Ratsak—August 2 to 4.
