Seekae Announce East Coast Tour

Seekae Announce East Coast Tour

Written by Sarah Guppy on 6 August 2012

No longer is Seekae Australia’s best-kept secret. Since the release of their second full-length album +Dome, Seekae have garnered praise and fans from around the world. In 2011, Seekaetook their trademark live show to Japan, America, England and Europe.

Returning home, this year, they sold outtheir Vivid Festival show at the Sydney Opera House – a performance featuring an 8-piece string ensemble

The Vivid performance also saw Seekaeintroduce a new element to their songwriting and performance: lyrics and live vocals.

To debut this new material, braving the winter-morning chill, Seekae and the Opera House team got together, at sunrise, in the Opera House’s Utzon Room to film the new track Yech. Yech represents a new direction for Seekae and confirms their ability to evolve while still maintaining their distinctive intricacy and originality.

This August and September you can catch Seekae performing tracks of new and old in a string of intimate Australian shows, with special guests Kangaroo Skull and Thomas William
