Butterfly Boucher Is Back In Australia For Melbourne and Sydney August Shows

Written by Sarah Guppy on 31 July 2012

It’s been a few months since Butterfly Boucher’s return to the Australian airways with the release of her catchy first single ‘5678!’ and self-titled album which was released to rave reviews both in Australia and internationally. Since then, Butterfly has played her own shows in Australia, has toured the US with shows in New York, LA and Nashville, U.S.A and embarked on a massive tour as a personal guest of Missy Higgin’s on her National Tour, performing as opening act and bassist for Higgins.

Hot off the back of touring with Missy, Butterfly will pause for a little before performing several of her own shows in Sydney and Melbourne with the support of good friend, US singer/songwriter Katie Herzig from August 8 to 12. Once complete the two will return to the states to, once again, join Missy Higgins for a run of American dates in September.

With a great response from radio and media nationally for the single 5678 and also the follow up track The Weather, Butterfly has been winning over fans with her breathtaking live performances and catchy, heartfelt songs.
