Ed Sheeran Sells Out Melbourne Instantly, Second Show Announced

Ed Sheeran Sells Out Melbourne Instantly, Second Show Announced

Written by Nicholas Jones on 9 August 2012

With his first Melbourne show selling almost immediately after going on sale this morning, Ed Sheeran has confirmed a second show at Festival Hall on Wednesday 6 March to the delight of his Victorian fans!

Tickets will go on sale at 9:15AM TODAY (Thursday 9 August) from Ticketmaster.com.au 136 100.

Sheeran’s 2012 tour of Australia and New Zealand sold out in a similar fashion, with the entire run of shows selling out mere minutes after they went on sale. The talented Brit will be doing it all over again when he is welcomed back to the Antipodes next year.

If the rapid snapping up of tickets for Sheeran’s first Melbourne show is anything to go by, best be quick or you may miss the chance to see the incredible performer at work!

Ranga Rock Stars
Ranga Rock Stars

The music business seems to treat rangas with even less respect than they get in day to day life, as it’s not often that you see a natural redhead on the cover of Rolling Stone. Luckily the intrepid Tone Deaf crew were able to work their way through the scarce numbers of ranga rock stars and put together our favourite ten. Have we missed anyone? Watch this slideshow »
