Well, you can’t keep a secret, can you all? The Tone Deaf email tip box has been overflowing with your tips and let’s just say, we reckon we could just about announce most of the line up this week. Collating the tips and the sources means that there won’t be too many surprises down at Tone Deaf HQ when the lineup announcement is made in September, but we’ve got a few more for our readers to add to the growing list.

We tipped Gorillaz some time back, but after Damon Albarn mouthed off to a London radio station that they’d be going to Oz in Summer, we hear that a tour is due to be announced. Is this tour Big Day Out? The band has made it clear that due to the many special guests required to pull a gig off, they’re only interested in big one off gigs, suggesting that the Big Day Out would be the most they could handle. Watch this space.

Other strong rumours fresh out of our inbox include: Guns N Roses, and Phoenix. Putting together the strongest rumours we’re starting to see a line up that could look something like this: Gorillaz, Stone Temple Pilots, Hole, Primus, The Deftones, MGMT, The National, Hot Hot Heat and Arcade Fire.

Tell us what you think.
