John C. Reilly, a familiar face on the silver screen and the boards of Broadway – Oscar, Golden Globe and Tony nominee – brings his beloved bluegrass music project to the East Coast fotwo special shows.

The musically inclined actor John C. Reilly and his friends – Tom Brosseau and Lavender Diamond’s Becky Stark – will play Sydney’s The Factory on December 3 and Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on December 6.

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

An accomplished musician, Reilly is better known for his roles in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line, Gangs of New York, Days of Thunder, Casualties of War, The Perfect Storm, The Hours and co-starring with Will Farrell in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers.

Reilly received Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor in Chicago.

John C. Reilly and Friends have released works through Jack White’s ‘Third Man Records’, receiving the ‘seal of cool’ with several releases such as ‘Gonna Lay Down My Old Guitar’ and ‘I’ll Be There If You Ever Want’ produced by Jack White III himself.

Reilly will be in Australia promoting the new Disney animation ‘Wreck It Ralph’.
