Festival of the Sun and Triple J have announced the winner of their Unearthed slot for this years festivities.

Patrick James will be taking the stage at FOTSUN, Australia’s favourite boutique summer music festival, alongside Aussie and Kiwi music icons Kimbra, Dead Letter Circus, Hermitude, The Datsuns and many more!

Born and bred in Port Mac, 19 year old Patrick James has had a whirlwind year. He’s toured with Tim Hart, Howie Day, Jay Brannan, The Paper Kites, headlined his own tour at the beginning of 2012. He has even found time to release his new single “Bright Lights” from his forthcoming EP due out in March.

“It’s been such an amazing year and winning the Unearthed competition just puts the cherry on top! I cannot wait to share the stage with the likes of these artists,” said James.

Tickets are selling fast so be sure to snap them up quick – they won’t be around for long. Catch you all on December 14th and 15th!
