Civil Civic 2013 Australian Tour Announced

With the announcement that Civil Civic would be of the ATP, I’l Be Your Mirror festival with the likes of My Bloody Valentine and The Drones, now comes news that the group will be embarking on a few sideshows as well.

Two part human and one part machine, Civil Civic have been creating quite a stir in Europe over the last couple of years.

Touring like animals playing festivals with the likes of Spiritualized and The XX, hyped up by UK press and buzzing around the blogs with enough speed to land them at the pinnacle of blogdom: Number 1 on the HypeMachine charts.

Curiously, despite the fact that both (human) band members hail from Australia, the band have never played on home soil. Admittedly, one guy lives in Barcelona, the other in London.  So where is the band from? Who’s to say?

Well now to make the story straighter, for the first time ever, Civil Civic will be touring the home of its creators. So come and cop their giddy, fizzy, pummelling, melodic sounds as the CC noise machine drops a bomb on home turf.

With a dream lineup curated by The Drones and featuring such long-absent touring acts like My Bloody Valentine,Einstürzende Neubauten, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, be sure to catch Civil Civic at ATP as well as their sideshows.
