We recently announced Cat Power would be playing a string of shows in Australia ahead of her appearance at Golden Plains music festival.

The Melbourne show at The Forum on Thursday 7th March is now sold out.

After experiencing difficulties lately concerning her European tour duties, originally threatening to cancel after announcing bankruptcy and health concerns, before confirming that it would be going ahead “without stage presentation, it seems Ms Marshall is back in fine form.

After releasing ninth album Sun last year, US songstress Chan Marshall aka Cat Power will return to Australia for an extensive run of dates starting in Adelaide next week!

Sun, the first Cat Power album of all self-penned material in six years, also follows that reinvention with all tracks, bar those on lead single ‘Ruin’ (the sole contribution by Dirty Delta Blues), having been played and produced by Cat Power herself.
