The Whitlams return after an absence of three years to perform a full concert programme with the 45 piece Melbourne Pops Orchestra.
Previously performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Opera House, to rave reviews, this stunning show will make its way to Melbourne for the very first time.
Vocalist, lyricist and pianist, Tim Freedman, described working with an Orchestra “like being hit with a velvet hammer”.
Triple ARIA winners, The Whitlams, will play their greatest hits such as ‘No Aphrodisiac’, ‘Keep the Light On’, ‘You Sound like Louis Burdett’, ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ and ‘Blow up the Pokies’ plus many more.
With beautifully crafted and textured arrangements, enhancing the brilliant musicianship of Jak Housden (guitar), Warwick Hornby (bass) and Terepai Richmond (drums), this show will be sure to impress fans and music lovers alike.
