Vydamo is the solo project of Art vs Science’s Jim Finn. Conceived whilst recuperating from a kidney transplant, Vydamo is equally influenced by the melodies, harmonies and upbeat vibes of the 60s and the rollicking piano-led party anthems of Fatboy Slim & co. Keep an eye out for the album, coming soon.

Vydamo (aka Jim Finn) honed his live skills playing countless festivals as one-third of Art vs Science and these shows promise to be just as compelling. Don’t miss the Gonna Make It tour this April, with the group performing as a five-piece for the upcoming April tour.

Support for Vydamo comes from Pluto Jonze, they of the ridiculously infectious track ‘Meteor’ who will be the main support in Brisbane and Sydney. They will be ably preceded by the winners of the triplejunearthed Laneway competition, Mammals, in Sydney and rising newcomers The Kite String Tangle in Brisbane. We The People will get the party started at the Toff in Melbourne.

Vydamo – earmarked by SMH as one of 2013’s Next Big Things – burst onto the scene with the high-impact track ‘Gonna Make It’, an exuberant, rollicking ode to the joys of staying out all night with pals. Now, he returns with the melancholic but no-less-irresistable track ‘Hurricane’, which you can hear below:
