Red Ink Get Ready To Hit The Road

Written by Jim Murray on 18 April 2011

Melbourne band Red Ink are already making waves on the Australian music scene, having played shows alongside Biffy Clyro (UK), Miami Horror and British India (to just mention a few names). They’ve been hitting the radio airwaves and raising roofs off venues across Australia and becoming increasingly hard to ignore. Their singles ‘Audrey’, ‘Catching a Killer’ and ‘Battlescars’ have each received widespread national airplay and plenty of media acclaim.

Spending 2010 as one of the hardest touring bands in Australia, they have hit the stage at festivals including Peats Ridge, Stereosonic, Playground Weekender and Hot BBQ, with word spreading  fast and rolling in from fans across Eastern Europe, UK and the United States. New  single ‘What My Friends Say’ is available for a limited time as a FREE download from www.facebook.com/redinkmusic and the band are gearing up to hit the road in support of it.
