We have a chat with Drawn By Bees
Sure we’ve heard about Drawn By Bees before, but we think it’s time for Tone

Drawn From Bees are set to release their second album The May King and His Paper Crown in 2012, which will be the follow up release to their debut album Fear Not the Footsteps of the Departed. ‘Of Walls and Teeth’ is the first single taken from the album, showing off influences such as Cream, with a guitar sound that pays homage to Keith Richards along with the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, ELO and The Rolling Stones. That said, they’re adamant that the album will be devoid of the clichés usually attached to a band that takes inspiration from the past.
Drawn From Bees have hit the stage at the Sounds of Spring, Woodford and the V Festivals, while this year has also seen them touring the States, taking in showcase performances at South by Southwest (Austin), Canadian Music Week (Toronto), Music Matters (Hong Kong), and an A&R Worldwide Showcase trifecta in Los Angeles, London and Perth. Now they’re back in Oz and ready to hit the road following the release of their new single.
