Grinderman Announce Extra Shows

Recently announced to play Sydney’s Homebake Music & Arts Festival and Meredith Music Festival in Melbourne, Nick Cave’s dirty bunch of middle aged scoundrels Grinderman will now perform headline shows in Perth and Adelaide.

Releasing their critically acclaimed second album Grinderman 2 in September 2010. It was produced by Nick Launay together with the band’s members Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, bass player Martyn Casey and drummer Jim Sclavunos. Debuting at No.9 on the ARIA album chart, No.38 on the US Billboard Charts and at No.14 in the UK.

The follow up to their self-titled Top 15 ARIA album debut, saw the band play acclaimed shows on 2011’s Big Day Out festival and headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne throughout January 2011. Fans are getting ready for another explosion of deranged rock n’ roll fire and brimstone preaching from them here in December.
