Triple J Throw 6 Launch Parties On 1 Night For Unearthed Radio

Just weeks after triple j announced their second radio station, an online offshoot of their triple j Unearthed initiative which will utilise over 30,000 independent recordings from the Unearthed archive, the broadcaster have announced the official launch date as October 5.

From 7pm on the Wednesday night six stimultaneous launch parties will be held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra. triple j presenters will be dispersed to each state to host the events, which will feature 19 Unearthed bands and artists including Loon Lake, Big Scary and Split Seconds.

Entry is free, but limited, so the first round of punters to show up to the venues with ID look a chance to get in for nix. Details below.
