In case you hadn’t heard, Peking Duk have a new single entitled ‘Stranger’. You’ve probably heard it. It’s only all over triple j and commercial radio and has a good shot at topping the upcoming Hottest 100.
Picture if you will the banging-est of Major Lazer bangers, with a chorus that’s quintessentially Duk, and a splash of Flume added in for good measure. Got it? Good.
Well, the Duk still reckon it needs a bit of a push, so they’ve launched a new viral campaign inspired by the lyrics to ‘Stranger’. They want to make sure your friends never sleep alone again by waking them up and filming it.
Basically, film you waking up your mates, preferably timed to the drop in ‘Stranger’. Upload it to social media and tag Peking Duk and use the hashtag #CheekyWakeUp. The top three vids get “our arias kappa collab + cheeky vip tix to our shows”.
