Our final premiere of 2016 comes courtesy of Melbourne synth-pop artist Sissysocks aka Tom Briglia, who you may know from his work in Parading and Creeks.

Taken from Tom’s upcoming third solo record, ‘Wander’ was produced by former Architecture In Helsinki member James Cecil, and pumps along on a sodden bed of bass, dark and dystopian. Appropriate enough, considering the track ruminates on the possibility of passing a mental illness down genetically, and the effect this has on one’s life.

If you’re a fan of his particular brand of “oblivion pop”, keep an ear to the ground for the new release, and be sure to check out Tom’s previous 2012 releases Bloodied and Because We Have Things in Common.
