Calling All Photographers For AIR Awards 2012
AIR (The Australian Independent Record Labels Association) will again be teaming up with Kane Hibberd (www.theartofcapture.com.au) to curate a photographic exhibition of Australia’s best Independent artists from the last 12 months. The exhibition will feature at Revolt during the Jagermeister Independent Music Awards for the second year running.
If you have some killer shots of independent artists, or artists signed to Australian indie labels, and you’d like the shots to be part of the exhibition, please submit your 5 best shots (lowres,1200px longest side) to Kane Hibberd (kane@theartofcapture.com) by Monday 27th August.
All photographers featured in the exhibition will receive tickets to the awards, a beautifully printed, framed large format version of the photograph, (as long as you can pick it up or organise postage), and a feature on AIR’s relaunched website.
Please remember the shots will be printed at 30 x 44 in so they must have been shot on a 12mp+ camera.
This exhibition will take place due to the kind help and support of Kayell Australia, Canson Infinity and Tim Ainsworth Archival Printing.
