Submissions Are Now Open For Emerging Artist Showcase

With more than 30 sessions over two days, there’s plenty on the agenda for next month’s inaugural Electronic Music Conference. One of the most exciting events on the roster is the Emerging Artist Showcase, which will give the next generation of Australian electronic artists the opportunity to showcase their work to some of the biggest names in the business – including representatives from: Totem Onelove, Stereosonic, Modular, EMI, Warner Music, Sony, ARIA, Future Entertainment, Ultra and Live Nation.

Confirmed speakers from Stereosonic so far include: Tiësto, Diplo, Tommy Trash, Destructo (Gary Richards), Patrick Moxey (Ultra), Ash Pournouri (At Night Management / Avicii), Nick Stevenson (Mixmag)

“Australia has a long history of producing some of the world’s most respected electronic artists, from Pendulum to Tommy Trash and The Presets,” EMC Founder Neil Ackland explained. “The Emerging Artists Showcase has been created to help identify and foster the talent of Australia’s next generation of superstars.” In short, it’s a pretty unbeatable opportunity to get noticed by the industry’s most influential players.

If you want to be part of the Emerging Artist Showcase, email: hello@electronicmusicconference.com with a short biography, contact details and link to your music online. But you’ll have to be quick – submissions close Friday November 2. The Emerging Artist Showcase is free for all delegates, so get your early bird ticket before they run out this Friday.
