If you have listened to any radio station in the last 12 months, there is no doubt you have heard something Calvin Harris has had his hands on.

After years of touring the world, and featuring on some of the most extravagant festival bills, Scottish electronic dance architect Harris has built up his name as one of the genre’s most prolific electronic dance music producers.

18 Months enlists the help of some of pop’s biggest names, and combined them with Harris’ melodic producing flair to create a release full of catchy dance floor filling tunes.

In contrast to some of Harris’ earlier full feature releases such as the hit lathered Ready For The Weekend, the new instalment features an abundance of female guest appearances, which when combined with Harris’ creative yet simple melodies, generate track after track of radio friendly dance anthems.

‘Sweet Nothing’, which features the vocal styling of Florence Welch, is a true display of Harris’ quest to combine strong vocal phrases with his marquee dance traits.

Welch shows off her expressive vocal range yet again, seducing listeners who are not often fond of the dance genre, providing them with a good reason to pursue listening to 18 Months

As well as featuring Welch, the release registers vocal cameos from pop diva Rihanna, Kelis, Ellie Goulding, Tinnie Tempah and Example.
