While Bluesfest and its touring arm have already offered up a heap of sideshows for this year’s festival, three more acts have just announced that they’ll be taking their shows on the road when they arrive in the country in April.

Party-starting and genre-spanning fusion band Slightly Stoopid will be heading out for two dates, as will bluesman Mud Morganfield, son of the legendary Muddy Waters. Backdoor Slam frontman and festival mainstay Davy Knowles, meanwhile, will be sticking to a single show in Sydney – his first even in the country.

They join a host of other Bluesfest acts playing their own sideshows, from established legends like Zac Brown Band and Mary J Blige, to exciting newcomers like Gallant. Dates for the new shows can be found below.

On the Bluesfest front, the festival recently announced the addition of tropical hitmaker and ‘Mayor of Margaritaville’ Jimmy Buffett and his band The Coral Reefers, the latest big international addition to the bill.

Check out the full list of sideshows at Bluesfest Touring, or catch them all out at once by grabbing a ticket to the big show itself when it all kicks off from April 13-17.
