Melbourne three-piece ReChords are about to launch their new experimental 4 track EP,  which has been in the making since early 2012 , when chance meeting with Music Producer, Lindsay Gravina of Birdland Studios, came about.

Upon the commencement of recording Lindsay decided that the full modern production approach should be applied to this particular project as in the past the lads have preferred the more ‘organic’ approach and recorded traditionally the way of analogue, valve and ‘live’ takes with just some minor overdubs.

The result of the full modern production is the killer EP “It Won’t Be Long” and the first taste to hit the airwaves is the  single ‘Don’t Know Much’.It would be a release without a launch show, so Sydney combo, The Drey Rollan Band will be making the trip to Melbourne to help ReChords celebrate.

With three core members, Drey Rollan, Bobbie Green and Little B  they add their own twist on the Americana theme and perform as a strong 5 piece act.  Their debut album was recorded in New York with the help of music producer Matt Verta-Ray (from ‘Heavy Trash’) and their brand new album was this year recorded by Matt Duffy.

For a taste of experimental ReCHORDS Americana madness, before the band head off on their 2nd European Tour in late May, saddle up for one crazy ‘Rootsie Ride’ on:
