The West Australian Music Conference, one of the must-attend events for Australian music industry members, drawing everyone from musicians and producers to managers, students, bookers, fans, and more, just got even bigger.

The jam-packed speakers lineup has expanded and will now feature appearances from Stephen Goodhew (Music Director, FBi Radio), Paul Mason (Director Music, Australia Council for the Arts), Nick Yates (Head of Artist Management, UNIFIED), and many more.

Featuring more than 80 acts, including Stillwater Giants, Sugar Army, Verge Collection, Whisky Au Go Go, Hussy, Belgrade, and more, taking over some 11 venues, the return of the Saturday Spectacular is not to be missed.

In an Australian Festival first, WAMFest will be partnering with Parlour, Australia’s premier organisers of home gigs, to let you create your own WAMFest adventure by registering as the host or act of your very own WAMFest gig.

Western Australia’s favourite music photography competition, Kiss My Camera, will make its return to. The comp will showcase selected music photographs, both live and press shots, from both WA amateur and professional photographers, with $11k+ worth of prizes up for grabs.

Oh, and don’t forget about WAMFest’s Friday Showcases, a series of live music showcases presented in conjunction with WA’s best promoters, organisations and venues. This year will feature some 13 events set to take over the city from Freo to Basso.
