“If I could book the same festival all over again in 2017 and not change one artist I would be sorely tempted to,” Byron Bay Bluesfest Director Peter Noble said of this year’s festival, and who could really blame him?

As we’ve previously mentioned, this year’s Bluesfest may have been an experiment for organisers, seeing them go in a bold new contemporary direction with Kendrick Lamar headlining, but it was also the best Bluesfest event yet.

“With its 27th year now under its belt, Byron Bay Bluesfest just got better,” wrote Tone Deaf’s reviewer. “True to Noble’s word, the festival continued to challenge and impress with a diverse international lineup and for lifetime fans.”

“Bluesfest will always be bigger than any one act. It’s the people. It’s the atmosphere. It’s the sense of discovery. It’s the shared experience. It is a trust built over one quarter of a century that the absolute best music of yesterday, today and tomorrow, will be on offer.”

So how would you like to see “the best music of yesterday, today and tomorrow” on offer next year? We know, we know, Bluesfest can be a little pricey, especially once you factor in travel and camping, right?

Well, what if you could get your Bluesfest 2017 tickets for practically half price? Sound like something you’d jump at? Well, you might want to know that organisers have just dropped a bunch of pre-Early Bird tickets for cheap.

The pre-Early Bird tickets are on sale now and they’re coming at you at just $350 for a five-day pass. That amounts to about $70 per day of non-stop entertainment. Allocation won’t last long so hit up the Bluesfest website now.
