Ben & Jerry’s has joined forces with Fairtrade to bring some of Australia’s favourite bands centre stage to raise funds and awareness for charity, and
create the best Sundae Sessions ever at the annual Melbourne Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas. The opening Sundae Session kicks off on the Sunday 2nd December in Melbourne with Bertie Blackman and Loon Lake hitting the Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas stage.

All ticket proceeds from Sundae Sessions go to the good people at Fairtrade, a not for profit member organisation that aims to improve the position of farmers, producers and workers and their families in developing countries. Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade.

Regular Sundae Sessions will continue every Sunday throughout the sunny season until the 6th of January. The event sets sail every week at South Beach Reserve, St Kilda, with tub-thumping moosic from local bands, which fans can enjoy whilst tucking into some dairylicious Ben & Jerry’s.

Movies include Searching for Sugar Man, Top Gun and Argo. Music by day, movies by night, cinemagoers and music lovers alike can relax with gourmet-style food and tasty beverages from the licensed bar, and watch the sunset sounds of acoustic sets from talented musicians.

Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas Sundae Sessions, Melbourne runs from 2 December 2012 – 6 January 2013 @ South Beach Reserve, St Kilda.
