Perth-based rock freaks POND have announced their fifth album, Hobo Rocket, to be released worldwide in August Modular Recordings and the Australian release date of Friday 2nd August.

Made up of Nick Allbrook, Jay Watson, Cam Avery, Joseph Ryan and Jamie Terry, the band set out to make a record that captures a portion of rock music’s great, decadent history through a personal lens. Known for their brutally raucous live shows, POND have captured that intensity on record, cramming as much loose, live emotion into a 40 minute album as possible.

With track titles that read like this:

01. Whatever Happened To The Million Head Collide

02. Xanman

03. O Dharma

04. Aloneaflameaflower

05. Giant Tortoise

06. Hobo Rocket

07. Midnight Mass (At The Market Street Payphone)

Pond and Modular and throwing a little listening party to celebrate the release of the album at two very secret locations in Melbourne and Sydney with drinks supplied by Sol and Magners and  have given us 20 x double passes to give away to each of the parties on the following dates:
